You promised us that health reform would end the repugnant practice of denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions. But then your administration did the exact opposite by imposing a harmful and legally-unnecessary ban on abortion coverage in the special Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plans. 

Health reform should safeguard women’s health, not deny coverage to women with serious medical conditions who must end pregnancies that are threatening their health. As a supporter of health reform, I urge you to remove the abortion restrictions in the Pre-existing Conditions Insurance Plans.
